Hello and welcome! My name is Jessica Rubino and since 2014 I have been a Qualified TypeWell Transcriber. I provide communication access to the spoken word by listening, condensing, and typing an accurate, clear, readable transcript for D/deaf, hard of hearing, or hearing impaired clients in real-time. Services are offered remotely or on-site and adhere to the TypeWell Code of Ethics and ATSP Code of Professional Conduct.
TypeWell is a software program used by qualified transcribers to offer speech-to-text interpreting services. TypeWell transcription provides a meaning-for-meaning transcript that is concise and easy to read. Anywhere discussions and decisions are taking place, clients are able to fully participate with a TypeWell transcript. The client uses a link to access the webpage with the streamed transcript and reads along in real-time from an electronic device of their choosing such as a cell phone or laptop. After the meeting, class, or event, the transcript is provided to the client for review or study.

TypeWell is for anyone who is D/deaf, hard of hearing, has a hearing impairment, traumatic brain injury, learning impairment, or wants to try speech-to-text interpreting for communication access.
With TypeWell, communication access barriers in classrooms, meetings, conferences, seminars, religious/spiritual settings, and social events are removed. As a result, the client is able to fully participate and engage with the world around them.
